explore eye conditions we treat

Cataracts

Cataracts cause clouding of the eye’s natural lens, leading to blurry vision, glare, and difficulty seeing at night. If left untreated, they can worsen over time, but cataract surgery can restore clear vision.

Dry Eye Syndrome

Dry eye occurs when your eyes don’t produce enough quality tears, leading to irritation, redness, and discomfort. Treatment options range from artificial tears to advanced in-office therapies.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a silent disease that gradually damages the optic nerve, often due to high eye pressure, leading to vision loss if untreated. Early detection through regular eye exams is key to preventing blindness.

Blepharitis

Blepharitis is a common eyelid condition that causes redness, irritation, and flaky debris along the eyelashes. Proper eyelid hygiene and medical treatments can help manage symptoms and improve comfort.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetes can damage the blood vessels in the retina, leading to vision loss if left untreated. Regular eye exams and early intervention are crucial in protecting eyesight for those with diabetes.

Macular Degeneration

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects central vision, making it difficult to read, recognize faces, or see fine details. While there is no cure, early detection and lifestyle changes can slow its progression.

Refractive Error

Refractive errors occur when the eye’s shape prevents light from focusing properly on the retina, causing blurry vision. These common vision problems include nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia.
